July 14, 2019 this point, rosé all day is kind of cliche, which is why I say it’s about time to step it up this summer with a glass (or pitcher) of this amazing twist on the classic cosmopolitan. This cocktail is pretty much all you need to drink to mix up some summer vibes. Between that pretty pastel pink and them lil’ green wedges, it’s pretty much a color match made in heaven. Need a better visual? Imagine a traditional cosmo took a little trip to the beach, sipped on some piña coladas, and just spent the day jchillin. That’s what we have here: summer in a cup.

Trust me, your friends may think they’re making the right choice by sipping on their rosé, but I know for a fact that this cocktail beats off the heat like no other beverage. And if you ask me, I’d rather be transported to the beach this summer than the vineyards of Provence.

Ingredients (serves 6-7)

  • 1.5 oz tequila blanco (I used avion silver)
  • 0.75 oz triple sec
  • 0.75 oz cranberry juice
  • 0.5 oz lime juice
  • 1 can coconut flavored la-croix
  • lime wedges (to garnish)
  1. Combine all ingredients except for the la croix in a boston shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake until condensation forms on the shaker. Break the seal and strain onto fresh ice.
  3. Top with coconut la croix and garnish with a lime wedge
  4. Chug responsibely!
